Whereas EAN 128 was introduced in 2005, upstream and downstream traceability of products has always been a priority with MitSiu. The firm is able to store wines that are bottled and kept unlabelled in boxes pallets, as well as bottles that are labelled and palletised. The handling of French excise taxes is handled at each site and supervised at group level by a designated manager.
